Kentucky Farm Bureau : ウィキペディア英語版 | Kentucky Farm Bureau
Kentucky Farm Bureau (KFB) is a voluntary organization of farm families and their allies dedicated to serving as the voice of agriculture by identifying problems, developing solutions and taking actions which will improve net farm income, achieve better economic opportunities and enhance the quality of life for all. ==History==
For more than three-quarters of a century, Kentucky Farm Bureau has served as the "Voice of Kentucky Agriculture," representing the interests of agricultural producers and rural communities. The organization was founded at a meeting in Louisville, in November 1919. Membership has soared to more than 500,000 Kentucky families, placing Kentucky in the top two to three state Farm Bureaus for the last decade. The organization's staying power has been the result of many factors, but the most important is the nature of Farm Bureau's leadership structure. Control of Farm Bureau, whether at the county, state or national level, is vested in the hands of agricultural producers, comprising the grass-roots leadership.
